"A Song of Silence for the Mother of Grendel" has officially been published by The Icarus Writing Collective: Issue 4 Currents.

Having my short story published is a beacon of light during my journey on the dark sea of querying. I have been tossed by the waves of publishing for quite some time now, feeling like a weathered sailor when it comes to receiving rejections. So, getting this publication just means the world to me at this stage during my writing journey.

I can finally emerge from the depths and breathe, knowing that I can do this. I can ride the waves wherever they may take me, and perhaps one day I'll make it to shore with one of my book length manuscripts just as I have done with this short story.

So, I hope you'll give "A Song of Silence for the Mother of Grendel" a read, and I wish you the best wherever the tide may take you.
